Meat and Game

Tender, flavoursome meat straight from the farm

Quality, tender meat

We've been raising our own cattle, pigs and sheep for generations, rearing the finest animals in order to produce the best quality meat. Breeding the animals at our farm - with its pastures overlooking the Jurassic Coast - means we can be confident that the best of care has been provided.

Master butchers

Our onsite master butchers are always on hand to help customers, with expert advice about each different cut of meat and the best way to cook or prepare it. Choose from a wide selection of local fresh meat, including beef, lamb, pork, charcuterie, poultry and game.

When we say 'fresh', we mean fresh

Fresh from the sea

Greendale Farm has acquired its own fishing boats, which land their catch at Exmouth, just six miles from the farm shop. We are extremely proud that our boats can catch a fish, land it in Exmouth and deliver it to a customer at the farm shop all on the same day. You simply cannot beat the freshness of our local fish.

Our knowledgeable fishmongers are willing to prepare, fillet and de-bone your fish while you wait. Available species can vary from day to day, depending on the catch, but popular species are normally available, including Cod, Bass, Whiting, Mackerel, Mullett, Gurnard, Monkfish, Plaice, Sole and, of course, Crab and Lobster.

Great taste

Why not taste the difference at our Farm Shop Cafe. Our chefs use the fish from our counter to create fresh tasty dishes including their 'catch of the day', Exmouth mussels, scallops, and scampi. We also offer Fish and Chips, hand made by our Fishmongers using freshly caught cod and haddock.

We specialise in live and freshly-picked lobster and crab. Just come in and choose from our sea-water tanks.

Greendale Deli

Seasonal Veg

We grow a variety of vegetables on our farm; those we do not grow are delivered fresh daily, enabling us to offer a selection of high-quality seasonal veg. Our delicatessen also features firm favourites, such as our delicious home-produced pies and pasties, black pudding and other local specialities. We have a great range of superb cheeses, many of them award-winning, and an expertly stocked European charcuterie. We also offer our succulent home-cooked beef, pork, ham and turkey, and of course the Farm Shop stocks all the dairy essentials, including milk, cream, yoghurts and butter from neighbouring farms.

Local Produce

Greendale Farm Shop boasts a variety of groceries from specialist local producers, many of which you will never find in any supermarket. We stock delicious locally produced cookies, chocolates, crisps, preserves and chutneys. We also have a wide selection of local and continental wines, award-winning local ales and ciders, not least our own renowned scrumpy! With healthy breakfast cereals, own-brand sauces and gluten-free ranges, the choice is endless. As you drive into our carpark you'll also see our free-range chickens - please feel feel to walk around the farm, and even feed the chickens if you wish.
